She's This, She's That: Finding Your Identity in Christ.
When you go throughout your daily life, it's so easy to look at someone and say she's successful, she's the pretty one, or she's perfect. The world is all about defining someone and women by what they do, what they look like, how they act, and how others see them. However, your identity doesn't come from the opinions and comparisons of others, it comes from Christ. It's incredibly easy to lean onto the labels of others instead of the faith Christ has instilled in you and the
Vision
We Value Encouragement, Understanding, and Connection.
When first finding Jesus and trying to build your faith, it can be really hard to feel like you fit in. Coming out of a sinful lifestyle, you can lose friends and feel really alone and discouraged.
Bibles and Bagels wants to be a place where women can find encouragement, belonging, and truth rooted in God’s Word.
My vision is to create a community that replaces isolation with connection, discouragement with hope, and confusion with guidance. I believe faith is best nurtured in fellowship, and my goal is to walk alongside women as they grow closer to Jesus and discover the joy of living fully in Him.

About Me

I'm Laney.
I'm glad you're here.
If you’ve ever felt lost, out of place, or unsure where God is leading you, you’re in the right spot. My story hasn’t been perfect or easy, but it has been full of grace. For years, I tried to carry pain, grief, and anger on my own, chasing things that never really satisfied me. It wasn’t until I turned to Jesus that I began to experience real peace, healing, and joy. Over this past year, especially, I’ve learned what it means to walk in forgiveness, freedom, and true happiness, and I want to help other women experience that too.
When I was 20, I packed up and moved to a new city and state. For the first time in my life, it was just me and Jesus. That season was both the hardest and the best time of my life. I had to face my anxiety, learn how to build new friendships, and trust God with everything. Through it all, I watched Him transform my life in powerful ways.
Now I want to share those stories to remind young Christian women that they don’t have to walk through faith or new beginnings alone. My heart is to encourage you to keep pressing forward, to find belonging in church, to build strong Christ-centered friendships, and to know that you are never as alone as you feel. If you’re looking for encouragement, community, and a little extra faith for the road, you’re in the right place.
